Terraced house on Lee St, go round the back to the house with the green back gate. Ask for Big Liz, shows start from 1am. 2 quid entry, extra tenner you get to piss on ugly sharons tits.

Attended quite a few cracking punk/hardcore gigs in Nottingham back in the day....had a good little scene going**. Garage was a good little club also. Realise this is no help at all, but thought I would share it!

I know the DIY lot pretty well. Couple of mates used to be in their collective and were DJs and producers.
Still see some of the others occasionally too. Know some of the Smokescreen lot too.
Some of them are still doing it and look fucked like Keith Richards, others have completely changed after leaving Notts and going into rehab.
Great times though!

Used to be famous for it's clubs back in the. Coach loads used to come from all over the place on a weekend.
Also famous for those in the know for it's underground sound systems and free parties but I guess you are not looking for that and most on that scene are hitting 50 now.

I have been for a couple of nights out in Nottingham including a truly embarrasing 'comedy club' within a large nightclub somewhere in the town.
It was a bit like visiting the 80s (not in a good way).
